Three-Day Training for Census 2027 Underway in Singhia; BDO Issues Important Guidelines on Day Two
A three-day training program is being organized for enumerators and trainers in Singhia Block (Rural) under Census 2027. The first batch of this training is being conducted from April 13 to April 15, 2026, with a total of 45 participants taking part.
The training sessions are being conducted by field trainers Nitesh Kumar and Deepak Kumar. On the second day, Tuesday, Block Development Officer (BDO) Vivek Ranjan addressed the participants and elaborated on important and meaningful aspects related to the census. He emphasized that accuracy and diligence are essential in census work to ensure reliable and authentic data.
During the training, it was informed that a mandatory three-day joint training has been arranged for all enumerators and supervisors for Census 2027. In Singhia Block (Rural), a total of 326 House Listing Blocks (HLBs) have been designated, for which 325 enumerators have been appointed. Additionally, 56 supervisors have been deployed to monitor the census operations.
The block comprises a total of 44 revenue villages, based on which the House Listing Blocks (HLBs) have been determined. The training program is being held at K.G. Academy, Singhia.
Through this training, participants are being provided with essential knowledge regarding census procedures, data collection, and fieldwork to ensure the successful execution of the upcoming census. On the occasion, Sumit Kumar, Manoj Safi, Raj Kamal, Praveen Kumar, and several teachers were present. District-level officials also attended the program
