On the occasion of Bihar Day, a grand Tithi Bhoj (special community meal) was organized in various schools under Singhia block of Samastipur district. On this occasion, children were served special meals, and a festive atmosphere was witnessed across school campuses.
The program was organized under the guidance of the District Education Officer, Samastipur, and the District MDM (Mid-Day Meal) Officer. The event was successfully conducted in several schools of the block, including +2 High School Bangrahatta, Primary School Bagahi Tola, Primary School Bharat, Primary School Mahua, Primary School Milki, Upgraded Middle School Shumbha DyoDhi, Primary School Shumbha Scheduled, Primary School Marwa, Upgraded Middle School Kyotahar, Primary School Gonwara, Higher Secondary School Nirpur Bhararia, Primary School Bankul, Middle School Phulhara, Primary School Haripur, and Primary School Phulhara Scheduled, among others.
During the event, MDM In-charge Lal Babu Das inspected all the schools. He stated that the organization of the Tithi Bhoj was highly satisfactory and commendable, as it has increased children’s interest and enthusiasm towards school.
Meanwhile, the Tithi Bhoj organized at Primary School Bagahi Tola became a special attraction, where a joyful and lively atmosphere was observed among the children. The program was attended by Block Deputy Chief Rinku Singh, Teachers’ Association President Krishna Kumar Singh, Rajesh Kumar Raju, Raju Singh, Mahesh Chaudhary, Ravindra Kumar, along with several teachers and respected members of the community.
At the end of the program, the school’s headmaster, Rakesh Kumar Singh, expressed gratitude to all the guests, teachers, and villagers, stating that such events boost children’s morale and increase their interest in school.
