Three Injured Including Father and Daughters in Clash in Singhia
A violent clash took place in Singhia Nagar Panchayat under Singhia police station area in Samastipur district, Bihar, in which three people, including a father and his two daughters, were injured. All the injured were treated at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Singhia.
Details of the Incident
The injured have been identified as Amarnath Jha and his daughters, Ankita Kumari and Sakshi Kumari, residents of Singhia Nagar Panchayat.
According to Amarnath Jha, the incident occurred on Saturday night when his neighbors allegedly entered his house and assaulted the family over a domestic dispute, leaving them injured.
Police Involvement
Amarnath Jha stated that he called the emergency helpline (112) for self-protection. The police arrived at night, controlled the situation, and then left.
On Sunday, after receiving medical treatment, he submitted a written complaint at the Singhia police station.
Police Statement
When asked about the matter, Station House Officer Shyam Kumar Mehta said that a written application has been received from Amarnath Jha, and appropriate legal action will be taken after investigation.
