Severe Traffic Jam in Singhia Bazaar Causes Major Inconvenience — Demand for Better Traffic Management Grows
A massive traffic jam occurred on Thursday in Singhia Bazaar, located under Singhia police station area in Samastipur district of Bihar, causing significant inconvenience to the general public. Long queues of vehicles in the main market area brought movement to a complete standstill.
According to local residents, the jam was caused by excessive crowding in the market, encroachment on roads, and unregulated vehicle movement. School children, patients, and daily commuters were particularly affected during this time.
Many people remained stuck for hours due to the congestion, leading to visible anger among the public. Local shopkeepers and pedestrians stated that this problem is frequent in Singhia Bazaar, but no concrete steps have been taken towards a permanent solution.
People have urged the Superintendent of Police, Samastipur, to ensure regular deployment of traffic police in the area to control the situation and maintain smooth traffic flow.
There is also a demand from locals for the administration to remove encroachments and establish proper parking arrangements to prevent such issues in the future.
