Sensation in Kusheshwarsthan: Minor Girl Murdered, Accused Arrested, Tension in Village
A shocking incident has come to light from Ward No. 5 of Kusheshwarsthan Nagar Panchayat in Darbhanga district, where a minor girl was murdered. In this case, the police have arrested the main accused युवक, while the search for other accused persons is ongoing. Following the incident, tension prevails in the entire area, and police forces have been deployed at the spot.
According to available information, a minor girl from Hirni Panchayat was allegedly lured away on January 13 by Md. Ujala, son of Md. Sabir, a resident of Ward No. 5, Kusheshwarsthan Nagar Panchayat. In this regard, the victim’s father had submitted a complaint at the police station against the accused युवक and his parents, but it is alleged that the police neither registered an FIR at that time nor took concrete steps to trace the girl.
It is reported that in February, the accused brought the girl to his home, where family members allegedly pressured her to convert her religion. When she refused, she was strangled to death. In an attempt to conceal the crime, the accused reportedly took her to CHC Kusheshwarsthan in a critical condition, where doctors declared her dead.
As soon as the incident came to light, the victim’s family members and a large number of villagers gathered at the spot. An angry mob caught the accused युवक and assaulted him. Upon receiving information, the police reached the scene and rescued the accused from the mob, taking him into custody.
Station House Officer Gaurav Prasad took the body into custody and sent it to DMCH for post-mortem examination. Meanwhile, the FSL team collected evidence from the scene. SDPO Prabhakar Tiwari also visited the spot, reviewed the situation, and instructed that security arrangements be tightened.
According to the police, an FIR is being registered based on the statement of the victim’s father. So far, one accused has been arrested, and raids are ongoing to arrest the other named accused persons. The police have stated that the case will be investigated from all angles.
