Breaking news from Singhia on P Newslive: 5 injured in a clash, 3 referred

In a violent clash that took place in Navtoliya village under Kundal-2 Panchayat of Singhia block in Samastipur district, Bihar, five people were injured. The injured were admitted to Singhia Primary Health Center (PHC) by their family members for treatment.

The injured have been identified as Sanjay Yadav and Vimal Yadav, sons of late Kari Yadav; Sujit Yadav, son of late OP Yadav; Rupesh Yadav’s wife Sanju Devi; and Sanjay Yadav’s wife Khushboo Devi, all residents of Navtoliya village.

The attending doctor, Ajay Kumar, provided primary treatment to all the injured. Due to the serious condition of three individuals—Sanjay Yadav, Sujit Yadav, and Vimal Yadav—they were referred to DMCH (Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital) for better treatment.

Regarding the incident, Sudhari Yadav stated that his mother had passed away, and he was preparing to go to the market for rituals related to her last rites when neighbors assaulted him, leading to the injuries. He also mentioned that the dispute was related to a land issue and that similar incidents of assault had occurred earlier.

In this matter, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Singhia, Shyam Kumar Mehta, said that information about the incident has been received, an investigation is underway, and appropriate legal action will be taken against those found guilty.
