A deeply painful and disturbing incident has come to light from Darbhanga district in Bihar. During a cultural program organized for Chaiti Durga Puja in Nadiyami village under Kusheshwar Asthan police station area, a young man was brutally murdered.
What Happened?
According to reports, Mithilesh Tanti, a visually impaired युवक from Mahari village, had gone to Nadiyami to watch a dance program last night. During the event, a local criminal attacked him with a knife over a dispute.
It is said that the attacker repeatedly stabbed him until Mithilesh died on the spot.
Another Youth Injured
In the same attack, another युवक, Santosh Kumar Tanti, was seriously injured. He has been admitted to a hospital and is currently undergoing treatment.
Police Action
As soon as the police received information about the incident, they reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The body was taken into custody and sent for postmortem to Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital (DMCH).
