Protesters Take Out ‘Funeral Procession’ of Administration

Angered by the delay in arresting the culprits and what they called police inaction, protesters staged a unique demonstration against the government and police administration. They carried out a symbolic funeral procession of Narendra Modi and the Samastipur Superintendent of Police (SP).

During the protest, slogans like “Down with the administration” and “India will not tolerate the insult of Bapu” were raised. The effigy was later set on fire as a mark of protest. It is reported that a large number of youths participated in the protest in the presence of Sanjeev Kumar Singh.
