A vaccination program for the prevention of cervical cancer was conducted at the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Singhia block, located in Samastipur district of Bihar. Under this program, HPV vaccination was administered to unmarried girls aged between 14 and 15 years.
BCM Rahul Kumar, who was present at the event, stated that getting the HPV vaccine can prevent cervical cancer completely in the future and provides 100% protection. He also appealed to others to ensure that girls aged 14 to 15 receive this vaccine to protect themselves from this serious and otherwise incurable disease.
ANM Archana Kumari and ASHA Facilitator Sudha Kumari were also present on the occasion.
