The SDRF team recovered Aamir’s body from the Kareh River at Rajghat.

In the Singhia police station area of Samastipur district in Bihar, the SDRF team successfully recovered the body of Mohammad Aamir from the waters of the Kareh River at Rajghat after nearly two hours of continuous effort.

It was reported that Mohammad Aamir, a 12-year-old son of Mohammad Salim from Barra village, had drowned on Saturday while bathing in the river after moving into deeper water.

After the body was recovered, Singhia police station’s Additional Station House Officer Jyoti Kumari, along with Subhash Yadav and the police team, reached the spot, took the body into custody, and sent it to Sadar Hospital, Samastipur for post-mortem. The police have started an investigation into the incident.

Meanwhile, villagers and family members have demanded financial assistance for the deceased’s dependents.
