A tragic incident in Samastipur: Child missing while bathing in Kareh River
Samastipur: A heartbreaking incident occurred on Saturday at Rajghat under Singhia police station area in the district, where a 10-year-old boy went missing after drowning in the Kareh River while bathing.
According to available information, the child was bathing in the river when he suddenly went into deeper water and drowned. People present nearby tried to rescue him, but their efforts were unsuccessful.
The missing child has been identified as Mohammad Aamir (10), son of Mohammad Saleem, a resident of Barra village under Kusheshwarsthan police station area. The incident has left the family devastated.
Police on the spot, search operation underway
As soon as the information was received, Singhia police officers Subhash Yadav and Edison Kumar reached the spot with their team. The police have started searching for the child with the help of local boats.
Considering the seriousness of the situation, the SDRF (State Disaster Response Force) team has also been informed. Once the team arrives, the search operation will be intensified.
After this incident, a wave of grief has spread across the entire area. Local residents and family members are gathered at the riverbank, hoping for the child to be found.
